What is a French Press?
Commonly known as a ‘French Press’, this style of manual coffee making is perhaps the best way to make rich, full-flavored coffee. By allowing coarse ground coffee (the grind you should always use in a French press) to infuse completely with the entire body of hot water over a few minutes; the flavors and oils extracted from the grounds in this process offer a true coffee taste unmatched by any other style of brewing.     Great for making tea as well as coffee I don’t drink coffee, but I brew a lot of hot tea, which I love. Tea bags are very convenient, but there are many fine teas that are only available as loose tea. A French press is ideal for brewing these loose teas, and it’s easier to use than trying to stuff ground tea leaves into an infuser. Having previously used a , I expected the Grosche Dresden French Press to work well, and I was not disappointed. It’s an attractive-looking French press that produces excellent brewed tea.     This is a simple French press with a rather clean classic look, a press meant for a lot of action. It’s not a fancy press, but rather one that many would probably use on a daily basis. There’s been a resurgence in the use of French presses, but I do remember using them years ago. It’s simply a relaxing way to make a pot of coffee, a special one, without having to head to Starbucks. This pot has nice capacity and you can make one or two cups or a full pot.Many people who aren’t coffee fans are opting to brew and infuse a small pot of tea in their French presses. I’ve tried a few different Grosche French presses and find them all to be well-made and designed. When I want a strong cup of coffee it’s easy to haul out a French press and make one.
